Excel Formulas & Functions

Course overview

• This Level 2 course covers the “need-to-know” functions when working with Excel daily to analyse data. This course assumes you have the knowledge of our Level 1 courses. We will revise the basics when it comes to writing formula and then move into the logical functions (IF, IFS, SUMIF…) and then the LOOKUP functions. We will cover functions that are there to help with dates and cleaning up text in data ranges.

Audience

• Knowledge of our Level 1 course and the need for more Formula in Excel. Preferred that attendees would have the knowledge of our Excel Data Analysis course (level 2) but not required.

Objectives

• This course covers functions that are aimed at familiarizing participants with a wide range of Excel functions, teaching them how to apply these functions for data analysis, automation, and error handling while also building the skills necessary for efficient and practical use in professional and personal tasks.

Certification

• At the end of the course, you’ll be Certified by the Irish Academy of Computer Training.
• CPD Certification

Requirements

• A very good working knowledge of Excel is required
• Software is provided in the Classroom and Live Virtual options
