Excel Data Analysis

Course overview

• Data Analysis is the first of our Level 2 courses. In this course we assume the knowledge from our Level 1 courses – Excel Essentials day 1 and 2. This course covers data analysis using Tables and Pivot Tables. It will use functions used frequently when analysing data such as Lookups and the M365 SPILL functions of Sort, Filter and Unique. This course will also give you an introduction to Power Query.

• Perfect for those that have completed our Level 1 course and need to extend their Excel knowledge.

Objectives

• In this course, participants will learn how to efficiently convert data ranges into tables, facilitating organized data management. They will also gain the skills to perform in-depth data analysis by harnessing the power of Pivot Tables. Additionally, students will explore the art of creating and formatting charts to visually represent data insights and be introduced to the transformative capabilities of Power Query for streamlined data manipulation.

• At the end of the course, you’ll be Certified by the Irish Academy of Computer Training.

• Essential to have a good understanding of Excel before attending this course
